To apply a vinyl sticker without those annoying little air bubbles can be a little tricky sometimes.Start off by cleaning the surface with some alcohol spray. Carefully remove the backing paper of the sticker leaving the sticker stuck to the transfer tape. Then spray a good amount of alcohol to completely wet the surface you wish the sticker to be stuck to. Spray this on the back of the sticker as well, making sure there is not even a dry spot left.
This will allow you to move it into position and straighten it before it is stuck in the right position. Take a credit card or a smooth spatula and apply pressure to the sticker working from the centre to the outside, pushing all of the air bubbles and alcohol out as you go.
By using alcohol instead of water and detergent, the result is guaranteed as the alcohol will evaporate better. For small cut-out letters, don’t rush to remove the transfer tape as it can pull up the letters as you remove the tape. Once you have the sticker in it’s correct position, give it some time to dry and adhere to the surface before removing the transfer tape.
Check that everything is ready to be removed by peeling back a small area of the transfer tape making sure the sticker has adhered to the surface and isn’t removing the sticker as well. If this has been done correctly, the sticker will adhere well without any air bubbles. You have then completed your sticker installation. Awesome work!!
